Sandra Morris
Sandra Morris' current writing project is a work women's fiction, the story of a young, female lawyer with everything going for her - a great job, a burgeoning love interest - but who can't escape the self-doubt she lives with due to her early life as a child abandoned to the foster care system.
Sandra has studied at The Attic Institute with Whitney Otto, and at The Blackbird Studio for Writers with Jennifer Lauck, both in her hometown of Portland, Oregon. She holds degrees in human development and has completed post-graduate work in communications and in business. She has co-authored a technical book on multimedia application development, published by McGraw-Hill.
In addition to writing, Sandra is an active volunteer with CASA of Multnomah and Washington County, and works with the School of Business at Portland State University to help develop memorable and impactful experiences for student entrepreneurs. She is grateful to her writing group, a troupe of writers helping her find the soul of the main character in her novel, and shoring up her own quest to find the right agent and partner to eventually bring the manuscript to a bookstore near you.
